OK it’s been a good while since Google has bought blogger, and a good while since Google let us add feeds to our personalized Google homepage, and and while since it introduced blog search… You’d imagine they know how to handle those feeds right?
Not really, judging from how those feeds are displayed in their search results…
What we see in this screenshot is one of the results in Google that happened to be a Feedburner-produced feed – many blogs use them. But is it the only format Gogle has problems with? – Apparently, no:
Here goes another fed in those same results that appears problematic for Google to recognize. Does it parse them/index them/display their contents? – yes it does. Why not then display something more appropriate than File format: Unrecognized?
