Looks like soon all those pinging Technorati from their spam/RSS2Blog and the like blogs will have to delete Technorati from the list of services to ping. Technorati is about to employ a spam hunter!

You will be responsible for and given the opportunity to design, build, and manage tools and systems for data quality analysis and reporting.
In this position you will focus on identifying suspect activity patterns and for monitoring abuse in web site traffic for fraud prevention and performance improvement.
Strong understanding of click spamming tricks, Internet fraud, and trends in order to identify and filter from metrics.
OK, we’ve still to find out just how qualified their “Data Quality Engineer” will be – and just what he will use to determine whether some feed is spam or not – but I wonder what will happen if they hire a black hat to do the job???
